Car and motorcycle collide in New Jersey, motorcyclist hurt

There are many different things that can lead to collisions between motorcycles and other motor vehicles. One such thing is when a motor vehicle driver fails to pay proper attention and fails to exercise proper care when executing a turn.

Collisions between motorcycles and other motor vehicles can cause motorcyclists to get seriously injured. No motorcyclist should have to suffer harm because a motor vehicle driver failed to act properly when performing a turn. Thus, one hopes that all motor vehicle drivers make sure to avoid engaging in negligent conduct when making turns.

Recently, a car vs. motorcycle accident occurred in New Jersey in which the driver of the car involved has been accused of failing to act properly when turning.

The crash happened on Tuesday in Scotch Plains. Reportedly, that night, a 38-year-old woman was driving a car north along Park Avenue. Reportedly, the woman then attempted to make a left turn. Allegedly, the woman made this turn attempt right in front of a southbound motorcycle. The motorcycle and the car then collided. The motorcycle was being operated by a 45-year-old man.

According to authorities, the 38-year-old woman was at fault in the accident. Authorities have issued a summons for improper turning against her in relation to the crash.

The 45-year-old man sustained injuries in the accident. According to the article which reported this story, the man was transported to a hospital in the area after the crash. Reportedly, the man's injuries include a broken vertebra and internal injuries.
