Woman sues store in connection to ping pong table accident

Oftentimes, stores will have products that are out on display. Sometimes, such products are quite large. One hopes that when stores put large products out on display, they properly secure the product and do everything they reasonably can to ensure that the product isn't at risk of falling. When a large display product falls, it can result in customers getting severely hurt.

No customer here in New Jersey should have to face being struck by a large object due to a store acting negligently in relation to a display product. One hopes that stores are held accountable when they commit negligence that results in a customer getting injured by a display product.

Recently, in another state, a case has arisen involving allegations of the above-mentioned type of negligence. The case involves a department store in Louisiana and an accident that allegedly occurred at it.

A woman says that the accident occurred while she was looking at ping pong tables at the store. According to the woman, a ping pong table that was out on display fell on her while she was examining it. The woman has accused the store of having been negligent in relation to the ping pong table.

The woman says that she was seriously injured as a result of being struck by the ping pong table. According to the woman, this has led to her suffering many things, including: pain, disfigurement, permanent disability and loss of enjoyment of life.

The woman is suing the department store in connection to the ping pong table accident. One wonders what the result of this premises liability case will be.
